Peas are flowering

We will harvest peas this weekend!  The sugar snap pod that was sampled tonight was young and tasty.  Be sure to like our facebook page at ashland produce to know ahead of time what we will be bringing to the market.  If you don't use facebook, we will be posting here on the blog as well.  The GOOD time of the year is just beginning!  If you'd like to plan on picking your own peas for a discount price, that opportunity is coming soon and should last nearly through the end of July depending on the weather.  See you soon!

Fresh Produce on the way!

We had the first of the new red potatoes on Sunday with our dinner, mmmmmmmmm! They are only about as big as peanut M&Ms, so right about the time the peas are ready, they will be perfect!  Peas are just beginning to flower, check back to know when they are ready.  Be sure to like our facebook page "Ashland Produce" to know what's being harvested and to know ahead of time what we're bringing to the Farmer's Markets.  If you're interested in fruit, be sure to look up "cwt produce" on facebook as well.  cwt produce are our "partners in crime" and provide the greatest fruit from the best orchards in the Caldwell area.  Cherries will be available this weekend! Markets we'll be attending are:  Driggs on Friday Morning, Rexburg on Friday evening and a new one in Island Park on Saturday morning.  Tell your friends and we'll see you at the Market!
